VALORANT Rank Distribution 2024

Riot Games ventured into the realm of first-person shooters with the introduction of VALORANT. This game combines strategic gunplay in a 5v5 format with the unique abilities of its Agents. The game draws significant inspiration from the FPS mechanics of CS:GO and incorporates elements reminiscent of Overwatch’s hero-based gameplay.

Initially met with skepticism, VALORANT’s trajectory shifted as it began to attract a substantial player base. With more than 20 million players on average each month, the game’s popularity became undeniable.

VALORANT offers a range of gameplay modes, including Deathmatch, Spike Rush, Unrated, and Competitive. In addition, it features three rotating modes—Escalation, Replication, and Snowball Fight—that undergo changes with each new patch. Among these, the Competitive or Ranked mode stands out as the most favored and widely played mode within the VALORANT community.

What is VALORANT Rank?

In VALORANT, there exists a competitive gameplay mode known as Ranked. In this mode, players are assigned particular ranks determined by their skill levels and Rank Ratings.

The purpose behind having a competitive or Ranked mode is to pit players against others of comparable abilities, creating an exciting and intense match environment. For newcomers to the game, it’s essential to complete 10 Unrated matches first in order to unlock the competitive mode and obtain an assigned rank.

VALORANT Rank Distribution

VALORANT encompasses a ranking system comprising 9 tiers, each of which is further divided into 3 sub-tiers, with the exception of the prestigious Radiant rank. Radiant stands as a unique and elite classification, reserved for the absolute top performers. Only the most outstanding 500 players from each Region are able to attain the Radiant rank.

In the past, VALORANT featured a lineup of 22 ranks. However, Riot Games recently introduced an additional tier known as Ascendant, debuting in Episode 5 Act 1. As a result, the roster of ranks has expanded, totaling 25 distinct tiers within VALORANT.
